Crossing Time collects only the information reasonably needed to operate accounts, purchases, hunt progression, communications, security, and prize verification.
Information we may collect
This may include your email address, account identifier, Hunter Code, purchase and entitlement records, accepted Rules version, hunt-progress events, messages you send to the organizer, technical logs, and verification evidence you voluntarily provide when making a claim.
Payments
Payment information is handled through the payment provider used at checkout. Crossing Time may receive transaction identifiers, purchase status, product information, and limited billing details needed to reconcile a purchase, but does not need to store full card numbers on the Crossing Time website.
How information is used
Information may be used to authenticate users, deliver purchased content, maintain entitlements and progress, prevent abuse, communicate operational updates, administer the Hunt, verify claims, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal or tax obligations.
Service providers
Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, email, payments, analytics, or communications. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect participants, investigate abuse, or resolve a legitimate prize claim.
Retention and choices
Records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Hunt, document purchases and Rules acceptance, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal obligations.
